Case Battle

Case Battles are an exciting way to compete with other users or bots for the best loot! Here’s how it works:

Up to four players can take part in one battle. In each round, every player opens one case to reveal a skin, with up to a maximum of 50 rounds/cases per battle. The total value of the skins determines the winner:

In the Classic mode, the winner is the player with the highest total reward value
In the Underdog mode, the winner is the player with the lowest total reward value

The winner takes it all: all of the skins unboxed during the battle are awarded to the player who won. Losing players receive Cashback in the form of a skin that’s worth a specified amount.

You can play with other users or with bots. The Provably Fair algorithm ensures that your chances of winning are the same, regardless of who you play with.

How to join a Case Battle

Go to the Case Battle tab to see the list of Active battles:

Active Case Battles

If you want, you can change how the list is sorted (by date or by price) or select “Sufficient balance to join” to show only battles that you can join with your current balance.

On the list, you can see which cases will be opened during the battle (Battle Scenario), the cost to join, and the number of players. The cost to join the battle depends on the total cost of opening the cases from the Battle Scenario.

Next to battles with an open player spot, you’ll see a “Join Battle” or "Join Underdog" button. Click it to join!

Classic battles are shown in green, while Underdog battles are purple.

You can also view battles without joining, if you want to just get an idea of how they work.

To join or create battles, you need to have topped up your CaseHug balance with at least $2.

If you want, you can add bots to your battle at this stage. You’ll also have the option to do so later, while you’re waiting for users to join.

Your battle will start as soon as all player spots have been filled, either by real users or by bots.

Canceling a Case Battle

If you have created a Case Battle, but decided to cancel it, you can do so before the battle starts. Click “Cancel” to close the battle and receive a refund of the balance you have spent to join.

Note that it is not possible to cancel a battle that has already started.
